Website says the item is backordered; when will it arrive?

Backordered items are fulfilled on a first-in, first-out basis as products are completed and become available. Because production and order fulfillment are continuously moving, an exact availability date may not always be shown on the website.

Some products and replacement parts are produced or assembled regularly, but inventory can move faster than the website reflects. Certain small parts may also consist of multiple components, causing the complete part to display as backordered even when some of its components are currently in stock.

For example, part 2011-S is produced daily, but because inventory can be received and allocated to existing orders quickly, available quantities may not appear online in real time.
